3C's - CAMHS for Children in Care

3C’s are a team of people from the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), who specifically work with children in care.  Many children and young people in care have difficult thoughts, feelings and memories. 3C’s offer support that will help individuals to move on with their lives and build positive futures.

Examples include;

  • Relationships – such as new family, birth family, siblings, friendships and boyfriends/girlfriends
  • Worries – such as school, nightmares and bad thoughts
  • Feelings – anxiousness, fear, sadness or guilt
  • Behaviour difficulties resulting in loss of temper and constant arguments

Referrals to this service should be made via an individual's social worker. Further information can be obtained from;
